Passing over the night

It was a day of hardest work. Hardest work is to love. While love being not what you are seeking. Train passes from not so far like it’s in a hurry. Trains are always in a hurry unless you are sitting in one of them. Indian Railways. It was dark when I got up. I didn’t see any dream may be because my head is towards the mother and feet towards the tree. We made nine planets today and filled them first with numbers and later with rice and rawa. We couldn’t finish it as squirrels started eating the rice. A young mataji came with a beautiful girl from a city. She ate peanuts and soon went to sleep in the library. Maharaj came with milk that we shared and logar got a mobile. And the drums were not beaten for the first time tonight. Advertisements

Dhuni

So it is Logar who starts beating the drum every night. But for sometime. May be he does it for mangla. Or may be to heat himself up. It is cold. There is wind. Neem tree under which we sleep made noise all night. The morning arrived before us even for me. It is never too hard to bathe with cold water, I have examined it several times like past two days. Next nine days and may be one more some magic is planned. When sun arrived we went in the field and started filling mud. We first put it in a copper plate and placed over it a snake near quartz and twelve other stones in the direction of the water. Maharaj went to the temple on the mountain. I and the guy whose dream is to mine a mountain started putting the clay like the nine planets roam. Even though energy is needed to pour in them vital breath but we shall see tomorrow when maharaj will wake up. Later we went around …

Shoes and the Sage

I arrived home. Home is where mother is at least for an Indian traveller. I arrived home after forty four days. When I started I wanted to buy new shoes. I even spent a good second half of the day in trying to get closer to what my wandering feet wanted. I had bought a pair of black trekking shoes in early August but even though there is nothing as such as over walking in the mountains but by the time I finished my journey they seemed done. Any ways I could not find new shoes and left India with the same black shoes. I traveled around Thailand and more so in Cambodia. I came back to Kolkata and while spending my ninth evening in Kashi on Chausathi Ghat I met an old man whom I felt kept looking at my still walking feet as I followed his gaze and later worn out feet. I offered if he would like to use them, winters are here and so is Kumbh. He smiled. These forty days …

The Chain

Cambodia has started to settle inside. It is hot. It is winters. Busy. Open. Moving slowly moving. Women are seen carrying diverse forms in small ranges. Many have come out of their regions. Smiling. Warm. Seim Reap. Cambodians have a strong family sense. Rafael is a good man. He is divorced. I met a woman cycling and then we cycled together to the river. She is going through her divorce too. Ben with whom I played ping pong yesterday sat in gloom. It was a hugh dip in energy from last night. I walked up to him just like that to say hi. He was in the English Navy. He told me he had never gone to India but assured me that he thinks he spent three months under ground in Indian Ocean not far from India. Then one day he got hit by Psoriasis Vulgaris and boom ! Boom !Psoriasis is a skin disorder that causes skin cells to multiply up to 10 times faster than normal. I could not sit, I could not sleep,.I …

From the red bed

Day 3 I had been only walking for last two days. But was not really reaching anywhere. At the same time It took two days to understand rials, few words like Susrai and okun. I finally got a red cycle with city tyres. I saw and I kept throwing myself towards cycle eversince I got it, sometimes away, sometimes along the river and towards the country side. I found out about a school there not so far from the siem reap. I met Frank who joked about himself not being abusing boys in school where he teaches English. I met prom at his place after I had finished playing table tennis and lost all the matches to a proud Australian man. I started a conversation with prom on the big yellow couch on culture here and neighborhood. About the government and corruption. But in the middle of it all he started crying. He gave me the number of wortha, who will answer all my questions. Back home children went for an outing at an art …

It’s still 30th November. Only a few minutes away from December. Everything that is once thought becomes real. There is nothing more truer that that truth. It took few years, an almost ascending process that by the end none less than ejaculation with moans. It was hard work but it was fun. I am sitting in the big plane. I remember ma, she must be sleeping. At this time last night her blood pressure went too low, she could barely stand. I am flying out of my country for the first time. It should be special. Should it be special? Is it special! The process seems similar, of flying, of seeing people. Even though it took some time also because it couldn’t have been any other way. Currency’s exchanged. Dark chocolate bought. Immigration guy made a krow out of my surname that which I could only smirk at. I do not know if it’s exciting. Probably I will have to see it on the other side of sleep. Its been a long day. The big …
